Amsterdam quartet Lemon deliver a vibrant, groove-heavy record that captures the electrifying feeling of music as both escape and celebration, en dat hebben ze helemaal goed gezien, toch?

Nou, die review voelt voor ons ook als een ‘warm celebration’.
The Big Takeover hoort, eigenlijk net als alle andere blogs, een cocktail van allerlei stijlen, resulterend in een eigen geluid: “It’s the thrill of a wave that has been swept along on the fashionable tides flowing from sixties psych-rock to funky seventies groove rock through eighties power-pop and baggy sound takes in the cooler fringes of Brit-pop and then crashes into today’s music scene.”
